| School Description |
Texas Woman's University occupies a notable position in higher education as the nation's largest university primarily for women, though men have also been admitted since 1972.
TWU offers a comprehensive catalog of academic programs, including baccalaureate, master's and doctoral degrees. Uniquely, the university's core curriculum requires all undergraduates to take both three hours in women's studies and three hours in multi-cultural studies.
This and other academic and social aspects of the university aim to empower students by inspiring intellectual curiosity and lifelong learning, embracing scholarship and research, developing leadership and personal responsibility, and promoting diversity and respect for all individuals.
TWU has campus locations in Denton, Dallas, and Houston, and also offers online programs as well. |
